Hopefully this list will answer any questions you have, if not please click here to get in touch and we will do our best to answer.
– It depends on the size of your tent! A standard pitch is 10m in diameter typically two standard sized 2 man tents can fit on one of our standard pitches.
– An oversized pitch is 14 metres in diameter which typically can fit a large family tent with porch comfortably, or 2-3 smaller tents, all depending on size.
– That is all dependent on the number of tents you are bringing and their size. Please check the dimensions of your tents and compare them to the pitch sizes ( standard pitch 10m in diameter, over sized pitch 14m in diameter).
There is Pitch Size Guide but if you are really unsure please send an email with all the details and we may be able to help.
Please NO! We would prefer our guests stick to the mown pathways because:
– Yes you can. All cars are charged at £6 each per night. Please book all cars online. (limited numbers available)
– No vehicles of any description be they car, trailer, campervan, motorbike etc can be driven to a pitch. We provide wheelbarrows for transporting your gear to the pitch. This lack of vehicles makes it safer, we wouldn’t be able to have fires with a car parked on the pitch. It’s also safer for the children too and there is no disturbance from headlights, engine noise, indicators and car doors closing especially late at night.
– You can add any additional people online up to the maximum numbers 6 and 8 respectively.
– Yes! Each pitch has its own fire-pit. After all what is camping without sitting around a campfire toasting marshmallows, and looking at the stars. Please take a look at our Camp Fires page
– There is an option for a late check out for an additional £5 per pitch but this is by arrangement only, dependent on how busy we are.
– Generally yes, but please call to check first. But no check in between 13:00-14:00. Please try and check in before 19:30, if you are going to be late or early let us know. – Yes you are, All we ask is for you to keep the BBQ raised off the ground ( we have bricks if needed) to prevent burn marks. You can also buy BBQ’s in our shop or hire them out for the night.

– Yes you can, this is one of the many benefits of not having any vehicles near the pitches. We have also created open areas in the meadows, so there is plenty of space to play.
– We’re sorry, as much as we love dogs we cannot allow them on site. This is due in part to agricultural activities surrounding us.
– Unfortuantely we have no facilities to dispose of your old or broken camping gear and we would grately appreciate you taking it down to the local tip less than 1 mile away opposite Sainsbury’s. Thank-you.
