NEWS 2020/21

We will open soon! Follow us on Facebook for the latest updates.

In line with government guidelines we have introduced a plan that allows us to open, much of which you will now be familiar with.  Among this is 2m social distancing, enhanced cleaning and one way systems. We have published some documentation explaining how we will operate on opening, prior to the government guidance being issued and will amend this in due course as necessary. We have cut the number of pitches available in order to reduce the number of guests on site. Details are available here: COVID 19

  • To fully enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the countryside, amplified music, radio, tv or any electronic device playing amplified music through a speaker is not permitted anywhere onsite. Thank-you for your cooperation.
  • We also reserve the right of admission.  No hen or stag parties allowed and if you are celebrating a birthday here remember it’s quiet time 21:00 – 07:00 and no devices allowed playing sound/music through a speaker.
  • For same day late availability ONLY, please call 07725 944204.
  • We have discovered we have grass snakes on site and have had two sightings of these elusive creatures in the last month (one was found in the shop). Please stay out of the long grass to protect the snakes.

Glamping News

All our glamping accommodation – Yurt, Shepherd’s Hut and Tipis are available for hire over weekends only for either 2 or 3 night stays. This allows us to let the accommodation stand for 72 hours before we go in and get them ready for the next guests. All our staff wear PPE whilst attending to the glamping accommodation to prevent any cross contamination and reduce the risk of spreading COVID-19.

The yurt is now fully functional with its new outdoor kitchen area and we have also put in a power supply to the yurt and it now has its own mini fridge.

We are now in the process of adding 2 more yurts to the site for the 2021 season. Follow us on Facebook to keep updated.

There is now a shower cubicle up at the shepherds hut and we will soon be fitting a gas powered shower.

We now have two Tipi’s Takoda and Amitola, which are still available to book the for 2021 season.  Tipi Kangee is currently for sale if you are interested please get in touch by email.

We have just returned from a 2 night stay in the yurt. It was amazing! The beds were really comfortable and the fire pit was a hit! It was really handy having the outdoor kitchen too. Our little girls loved every minute! John was very friendly too.

We stayed 2 nights in this great site. Loved camping in the meadow. All the amenities were clean and well looked after. Lots of space and sunshine!
