                                 CAMPING FAQ

  • How much is a standard pitch per night? 

       – A standard pitch is £28 per night ( which includes 4 campers & 1 car) 

  • How many tents can you fit on a standard pitch? 

     – It depends on the size of your tent! Although typically two standard sized 2 man tents can fit on one of our standard pitches. 

  • How much is an oversized pitch per night?   

       –  £54 per night ( which includes 8 campers & 2 cars) 

  • How many tents can you fit on an oversized pitch? 

      – An oversized pitch can fit a large family tent with porch comfortably, or several smaller tents.

  • Can I bring add extra car?

      – Yes you can. A standard pitch includes 1 car, and an oversized pitch includes 2. Please book any additional cars online. (limited numbers available)

  • Can I add extra people to my booking?

     – Yes, 4 people are included on a standard pitch and 8 on an oversized. You can add any additional people online up to the maximum numbers 8 and 12 respectively. 

  • Can I have a campfire? 

      – Yes! Each pitch has its own firepit. After all  what is camping without sitting around a campfire toasting marshmallows, and looking at the stars.

  • Can I check out late? 

     – There is an option for a late check out for an additional £5 but this is by arrangement only, dependent on how busy we are. 

  • Can I arrive early? 

    – Generally yes, but please call to check first. 

  • My friends are staying in a Tipi can I camp next to them? 

     – Yes we have some pitches reserved for just this reason. Just send us an email when booking and we will make sure that you will be put next to them. 

  •   It’s 3am and I really want a packet of polos, can I get some? 

      –  Well yes actually you can. Our shop works on an honesty basis. Should you need anything at anytime be it wood for the fire, tape for the tent…..or even a packet of polos, all you need to do is pop to the shop and put the money in the tin.   

  •  Am I allowed to BBQ?

      – Yes you are, All we ask is for you to keep the BBQ raised off the ground ( we have bricks if needed) to prevent burn marks. You can also buy BBQ’s in our shop or hire them out for the night. 

  • Can I play ball games in the meadows? 

     – Yes you can, this is one of the  many benefits of not having any vehicles near the pitches. We have also created open areas in the meadows, so there is plenty of space to play.

  • Can I bring my dog? 

    -   We’re sorry, as much as we love dogs we cannot allow them on site. This is due in part to agricultural activities surrounding us.  

  • I would like to pitch next to my friends, can I do this? 

     –   Yes if there is space at the time of booking. We also offer double pitches, this is where two pitches are connected by a mown pathway. Just send a message when booking and let us know your preference and we will do our best to accommodate.

  • I need to cancel my booking, what should I do? 

          – Please let us know as soon as possible if you can no longer stay with us, our refund policy is set out below.

- 30 days notice or longer 90% refunded
- 15-29 days notice – 50% refunded
- 14 days or less notice – No refund

  • Can I have  day visitors? 

       – Day visitors are permitted subject to availability for an additional £5 per visitor per day and must be arranged prior to arrival. A maximum of 2 day visitors per pitch is allowed and they must register with us on arrival. We also ask all day visitors to observe the following hours strictly 11 am - 9 pm.

                                       TIPI FAQ 

  • What’s included in my booking? 

      - Your tipi will come fully furnished with the appropriate number of beds for your booking as well as Other items of furniture to make you feel at home. There will be plenty of blankets, cushions and pillows to make sure you’re cosy and comfortable. 

      –  Logs, kindling, paper, matches, firelighters, everything needed to get a crackling campfire going, will all be provided and waiting for you in your log basket on your arrival. 

      – A welcome basket of food will be waiting for you in your tipi. It will contain all the essentials such as milk, bread, butter, tea, coffee, eggs and more. We will even put in some sweet treats for example biscuits, marshmallows, and cupcakes. 

      –   All cooking utensils, cutlery, plates, bowls, cups, saucepans, frying pans etc. 

      – As well as a standard camp firepit, we also provide you with a raised firepit and grill. 

      –  There is also a patio gas stove, if you prefer not to cook on the campfire. 

  • Can you stand up in the tipis? 

      – Yes you can stand up, and even jump if you want to. The centre of the tipi is well above head height, gradually sloping down giving the tipi its distinctive shape. Leaving you with plenty of room to relax in. 

  • Can I smoke in the tipi? 

      –  No! Smoking in the tipi poses a fire risk, so we please ask you to refrain. They are after all made of wood and material. 

  • Can I arrive early? 

     -  Preparing the tipi takes time, as they are furnished specifically according to each individual booking. However please call to check if you would like to arrive early. We hope to help. 

We've just returned from 6 perfect nights at this campsite. The toilets are clean and showers hot. Even over a busy weekend it felt relaxing and spacious. The location is perfect with Stratford, Charlecote Park, Blemheim Palace and Drayton Manor within easy reach. Our 1 year old loved loved it. ...

We spent a wonderful few days unwinding at twiteys, opting to camp in one of the spacious pitches. The children loved exploring the site and having a fire pit on the pitch was fabulous! Will definitely be coming again.
