NEWS 2019/2020

We're Open!

In line with government guidelines we have a plan in place that enabled us to us to open, much of which you will now be familiar with.  Among this is 2m social distancing, enhanced cleaning and one way systems. We have published some documentation explaining how we will operate on opening, prior to the government guidance being issued and will amend this in due course as necessary. We cut the number of pitches available in order to reduce the number of guests on site. Details are available here: COVID 19

We have discovered we have grass snakes on site and have had two sightings of these elusive creatures in the last month (one was found in the shop). Please stay out of the long grass to protect the snakes.

The chicks now have names, thanks for all your suggestions. Out of the hat came Choc and Chip, so special thanks to Poppy for your list of names. Dad Trevor and Mum Mary are delighted.

All our glamping accommodation – Yurt, Shepherd’s Hut and Tipis is only available for hire Friday and Saturday or Saturday and Sunday (2 night stay). This allows us to let the accommodation stand for 72 hours before we go in and get them ready for the next guests. All our staff wear PPE whilst attending to the glamping accommodation to prevent any cross contamination.

We have put in a power supply to the yurt and it now has a mini fridge. There is now a shower cubicle up at the shepherds hut and we will soon be fitting a gas powered shower.

We are replacing our two large tipis Amitola and Kangee with yurts for the 21 season.  Takoda is still be available to book now for 2021. The tipis are for sale if you are interested please get in touch by email.

Welcome to our small, beautiful and cosy camp site. Just 4 miles east of Stratford upon Avon and 8 miles south of Warwick (why not explore the wonderful and historic Warwick Castle) it provides the perfect location to enable you to breathe in the atmosphere and fully explore the delights of Shakespeare Country and the Cotswolds nearby.

A family friendly site where pitches are hidden in the grass and wild flower meadows,  thus providing  seclusion and exclusivity.  A glimpse back to camping of old!  Children are able to explore the grass pathways, play Hide-and-Seek and use their imagination.

Evenings around the campfire chatting with family and friends, watched over (hopefully) by the twinkling stars, allows for a lovely end to the day.

To enhance the experience of camping in the meadows, vehicles are left in the  car-park.  Barrows are provided to help move tents and kit to your pitch, unusual  but  fun, especially for children who often get a barrow ride from mum or dad. With cars parked up away from the camping, all can play safely in their surroundings. From here on in – you can relax, chill and enjoy time next to your own camp-fire.

 Inside the yurt

We have just returned from a 2 night stay in the yurt. It was amazing! The beds were really comfortable and the fire pit was a hit! It was really handy having the outdoor kitchen too. Our little girls loved every minute! John was very friendly too.

We stayed 2 nights in this great site. Loved camping in the meadow. All the amenities were clean and well looked after. Lots of space and sunshine!
